The Foundation

How we are run

The Fondation du Patrimoine is made up of a network of departmental and regional representatives. This network is fundamental to our action ‘in the field' and it includes also a team of around ten people working at our Headquarters which is in charge of coordination and administrative and financial management.

The Fondation's administrative council, chaired by Mr Charles de Croisset, is made up of founding members, representatives from both national (ministers from the Home Office, ministers for environment and culture, the Sénat, the Assemblée Nationale and the Institut) and local institutions (town councils, départements and regions). The Orientation council is made up of representatives from cultural and natural heritage preservation groups, as well as professional consultants.
